By accessing or using our online platform and the curated seasonal travel experiences, eco-tourism packages, wilderness retreats, local cultural immersion tours, seasonal festival and event coordination, guided outdoor adventures (hiking, cycling, kayaking), wildlife viewing excursions, sustainable accommodation bookings, and transportation logistics provided by Maple Cycle, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. 3. Booking and Payments
Details regarding booking procedures, payment schedules, deposits, and final balance due dates will be communicated to you during the inquiry and booking process. Prices for services are quoted in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise specified and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking, with the balance due at a pre-determined date before the travel commences.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.
- Specific cancellation and refund policies will be provided for each service at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary depending on the specific service, destination, and timing of the cancellation request. These policies will be clearly outlined in your booking confirmation. Generally:
- Cancellations made within a certain period may incur a cancellation fee or result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- No refunds are typically issued for no-shows or early departures.
- We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
5. Travel Insurance
Maple Cycle strongly advises all clients to purchase adequate travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover, at a minimum, unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, personal liability, loss of luggage, and repatriation expenses.
6. Client Responsibilities
As a participant in Maple Cycle's experiences, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have all necessary travel documents (passport, visas, etc.).
- Adhering to all local laws, regulations, and customs.
- Notifying Maple Cycle of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements that may affect your participation in activities.
- Exercising common sense and caution during all activities, especially outdoor adventures.
7. Limitation of Liability
Maple Cycle acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other third-party service providers. We are not liable for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any such suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. In no event shall Maple Cycle be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use of our services.
8. Changes to Itineraries
While Maple Cycle endeavors to adhere to planned itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, political instability, or operational requirements of our suppliers. We will inform you of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements of comparable value or a pro-rata refund for any services that cannot be provided.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Maple Cycle or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or create derivative works from any of the content without our prior written permission.
